Path Forward
As experienced by many, lockdown presented a wonderful opportunity to stocktake, gain direction & more specifically, for myself, provided an opportunity to reflect. In this timeframe I created website updates with nifty content to navigate. Going forward, I will be sharing projects & exhibition overviews on this platform under the Insights tab. Should you have a moment to peruse, site experience feedback would be highly appreciated!
SA on the Map
I am delighted to share, just prior to lockdown I showcased at AVA Gallery in Cape Town in the Home(lands) Exhibition and a number of works purchased were acquired by international collectors. African artists hold a special place in the art world at large & I am very honoured to say that my work has officially become part of international scene.

ABOUT THE SHOW
Bridging Disconnectedness Lockdown, a pandemic, a stand still, my artist's purpose and footprint are a few facets which have further influenced mindfulness within my practice of late which will most certainly steer direction going forward. Through these reflections, thoughts and updates I share quick insights into my practice as a creative & new developments. REFLECTIONS Listen, 2018, Ed 4/14, bronze The next edition of Listen is finally complete, the patina was inspired by blue gum trees which have been buzzing with bees around my studio. The piece will become a part of the expanded series - The Senses, which is in the making. ABOUT ARTWORK "He is listening to the earth & knows he is home, his body is imbued with fabric as a notion of mixed cultures which make him him, and this home." ABOUT LISTEN
