South African Print Fair
The South African Fine Art Print Fair brings together fine art prints from all over South Africa to be viewed under one roof.
The South African Print Fair expanded significantly in 2017, and I decided to take up a stand at the lovely annual event. Artists and print houses from various provinces made their way up to Johannesburg for a great show where emerging artists work as well as established artists work was up for Grabs. Remarkably, there was a stunning series of work by Hodgin's which had previously not been available to the public which I really enjoyed. I gained some intriguing insights into his work in discussion with Hodgin's print assistant who had aided in doing the print run on the body of work.

Few galleries are dedicated solely to print, and printmaking studios are generally exiguous. The Fair gives those who create fine art prints the opportunity to showcase their work and allows print lovers and art collectors to view and buy their work.
